Kevin W. Vonnahme joined Mick Law in 2012. Mr. Vonnahme’s practice focuses on performing third-party due diligence analysis of real estate equity funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), business development companies (BDCs) and other alternative investment programs, for the benefit of broker dealer and registered investment advisor clients. Mr. Vonnahme also assists clients with business formation, advisory, drafting and litigation services.
Prior to joining Mick Law, Mr. Vonnahme performed discovery and litigation work for law firms in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Vonnahme also worked as an intern while in law school and later as a research and writing attorney for the county attorney’s office in his hometown of Carroll, Iowa.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota in May 2004 with a Business Management major and Criminal Justice minor. Mr. Vonnahme then entered a joint degree program at Drake University’s Law School and College of Business & Public Administration in Des Moines, Iowa where he received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees in 2007. Mr. Vonnahme received his Master of Laws degree in Corporate Law and Finance from Widener University Delaware Law School in Wilmington, Delaware in 2008.
